You’ll work directly with our trusted butcher to choose your steaks, roasts, ground beef, and more. This gives you complete control over how your meat is prepared.

WHOLE HOG

Enjoy pork the way it was meant to be: responsibly raised and processed to your specifications.

Our hogs are raised with daily care and attention, producing flavorful, high-quality pork. When you purchase a whole hog, you’ll customize everything from pork chops and bacon to sausage and roasts directly with the processor.

A great option for those who want full control over cuts and maximum value.

HOW IT WORKS

Because we are not a USDA-inspected retail facility, we sell live animals directly to customers, the traditional ranch-direct model.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. You purchase a live animal (whole or half beef, whole or half pork, or whole chickens)

  2. We coordinate with our trusted processor, Barstow Butchering (Apple Valley, CA)

  3. The butcher comes to our ranch for harvest

  4. Your animal is transported to their facility

  5. You work directly with the butcher to:

    • Customize your cuts

    • Select packaging preferences

  6. Your meat is professionally processed, packaged, and frozen

  7. You pick up your finished order directly from the processor

This ensures:

  • Transparency in sourcing

  • Custom-cut meat to your preference

  • Compliance with processing standards

For Beef & Pork:

  2. We contact you with timing and details

  3. You select your cuts with the butcher

  4. Final price is based on weight + processing

Guided by Generations of Ranching Wisdom

This livestock program is made possible through our partnership with the Graham family of Apple Valley, California.

Earl and Rhonda Graham have spent nearly 50 years ranching, building agricultural businesses, and serving their community. Earl is a fourth-generation rancher with decades of hands-on experience in cattle operations, livestock sales, hay production, and grass-fed beef programs.

Today, Earl personally mentors the men at The River’s Edge Ranch. He works alongside them teaching livestock management, animal health, proper handling, ranch responsibility, and the business side of agriculture. What he passes down isn’t theory. It’s hard-earned wisdom from a lifetime in the industry.

The Graham family continues to operate their Black Angus and hay businesses, and their reputation in the ranching community reflects integrity, experience, and stewardship.
